part of determining the Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) of raw natural rubber. It is available as 2 models - O14-48 and O14-96.

- Overview
Available for 48 or 96 samples, each model is engineered for accurate, stable and reliable temperature control with individually time controlled drawers. Over-temperature cut out and easy to use traceability fixture. It is used in conjunction with the Wallace Rapid Plastimeter (P14) to determine the Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) of raw natural rubbers.

Housed in a robust steel case, the O14 features an aluminium block with four chambers that carry the drawer units and sample dishes. This block plus high-quality insulation creates a very stable temperature profile and minimises heat loss. A temperature of 140°C (as specified by the standard) is maintained by a PID Controller, which continuously displays the chamber temperature. A reliable air pump provides the air flow as required by the relevant standards.

No, however, you can purchase the traceability fixtures along with the aluminium dishes separately.

The O14-48 is supplied with 60 dishes and the O14-96 with 120 dishes. It is possible to buy additional dishes and these can be found here.

Yes, they are made out of aluminium and can be washed and re-used several times before needing to be replaced. Length of time to replacement will depend on testing frequency and quantity of samples being tested.

The circular dishes are used with the O14-48 Ageing Chamber and the rectangular dishes are used with the O-14-96 Ageing Chamber. To purchase additional supplies please quote part number O14-50 for the O14-48 and part number O14-61-2for the O14-96.
